Tom v Pete Seeger
« on: February 04, 2008, 12:32:18 AM »
Hey everyone, I made a cartoon full of best show references.  Tom challenges Pete Seeger to a fight in a Newbridge arena.
I did not add the live action final sequence of Petey portraying a man playing "Tom v Everyone" the videogame.  I might someday but this took so much time and I wanted to be done with it.  Also Pete Seeger is not actually a racist.

I have another project in the works that I will finish up when I have free time.  Heres the main character voiced by Petey.

Great stuff.  And thorough.  Alec Guinness!

Good stuff, man ... thanks for sharing it.  I liked Tom slowly hulking out when thinking of the hate pit residents.

And to think a couple months ago this production would have left me totally bewildered.

Oh my, thanks for all of the positive feedback.

Emily I could see why you had the impression that the drawing was a rendition of Spike (the disconnected phone).  But it’s more of a blend of all the dumb jerks that call in.  His names Shuckle Berry and he works at a gas station!

Yes Omar, it was a tough decision, but in the end I think I made the right choice.  Mr. Guinness was a pleasure to work with.  I hear he might run for mayor.

John, yeah it sucks that no one will understand this unless they are best show super fans.  I’m planning on showing it in my film class next week to see what kind of reactions I get ahah.

Master of Sparks try this smaller file.  It’s really blurry and impossible to make out what Pete Seegers saying.  Or should I post it on Youtube?
