gotta say - tonight's JGL episode is a million percent better than last week. i rarely lol, but it's happened a couple of times thus far.

Agreed Samir.  I was in love with last season, but the Levitt episode was the first truly solid episode from this season.  Sad that it took until November.

Nevertheless, I will still watch every episode until either I die or it dies.

They just did a parody of the Gathering of the Juggalos infomercial that might be one of my favorite SNL things in quite some time.

I saw this and was disturbed at how similar yet different it was. They really got the essence down right (the hosts and absurd attractions...ventriloquists on stilts!) but i think for us FOT we were even more entertained by this than the audience would have been. Methinks friend of the show John Mulaney may have had a hand in this creation?

Yeah, I mean PFT and Tom have forever changed the words "helicopter ride" for me. Their discussion about it was one of the funniest things I've heard this year.

I thought Sudeikis was incredible in the skit. I rewatched it twice just for his exclamations and facial expressions.

It was funny enough as a random skit, but I don't see how anyone who hadn't heard the Best Show take first would get it. The only bit that someone unfamiliar with the video would even be able to recognize as juggalo, was the phrase "my ninja" if I recall correctly. Odd, but probably not so odd!

One more thing. Every lady I know should dress like Rhianna dressed for her performances tonight, every day of their lives.

I think I hate Bobby Moynihan's face more than any face I've ever seen.

I wasn't expecting much from a Blake Lively show, but it was good!

This made me laugh.

Blake Lively is a pretty good actress.

not a solid episode of television but the potato chip bit was great and the gathering of the juggalos thing was fantastic.

the still of ASS DAN is the best thing SNL has aired in a decade.

Yeah, the "under-underground" fest was perfect. "Yo, we got LOOSE ALLIGATORS all up in this!"

I think it still would have still been funny for people unfamiliar with the JuggaloFest -- albeit a whole lot more confusing. That might be my own bias though ... I tend to laugh at things I find totally inexplicable or left-field.

Potato Chip and Underground fest sold me on the show. I love how almost nobody laughed during the Potato Chip skit. They were all uncomfortable sounding. What's wrong with people?!

I was wondering if people laughed. I couldn't tell because I was laughing so hard at will forte's accent.

This episode was by no means great but I think it was the best this season. Though it was another cheesy monologue, Bill Hader's Animal cracked me up for some reason. I had just about fallen asleep when the Kickspit Underground Rock Festival bit came on. I thought it was a hilarious dream. Though it was a bit over the top and kind of sophomoric, I did laugh at the Vagasil bit too.

Will Forte can do that dumb, deer in the headlights bit all the time, and I'll laugh even if the jokes aren't that funny. Forte and Sudekis are easily the highlights of SNL right now. Kenan has been better this season but they're using him too much.
