First, for me at least, there was <a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/aQqKbLg0-H0&rel=1" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/aQqKbLg0-H0&rel=1</a>
Tonight, there was Hesh.

I've gone to town on that archive, but I can't find any other instances of perhaps Tom's finest radio maneuver, the rope-a-dope GOMP.
Tell me there are many more, folks. Please.  Big fat 'W' any time he breaks that one out.

Frankly, I don't see how Hesh fell for it--if he really did.

Either way it was a low punch considering his girlfriend just died.

I fucked up my story, but at least I was instrumental in setting up this classic bit.

I haven't called for a while, and forgot that stupid stories rarely work. I need to stick to my strengths: Trivia and Kissing Ass.

I honestly fell for it.
I think my brain just shut off for most of that phone call.

speaking of the rope-a-dope, Tom pulled a pretty good one on that weird labrynth kid on this week's show

"earlier in the night, I called in about grindhouse and I saccidently cursed and I was nervous if I called back using the same name that you'd hang up on me really quickly."

-what did you think I would do?

"ohh, you're gonna do it right now, aren't ya?"

-no, I'm not.

"oh good, I thou"

had me laughing so hard listeneing to the podcast today
