On the opposite end of the scale, I would like to see Michael Bay channel Gus Van Sant and do a shot-for-shot remake of Psycho. He would inevitably fail, and the places where he failed would likely be very entertaining.

Small Wonder where the robot kills the whole town. Dark, man, dark.

Mostly I just want to see the cheesiest 80s sitcoms remade with sort of East German cinema vision.

I think its singularity would be cool, otherwise it would be Village of the DamnedToday's Special directed by Chris Noland. Hill Street Blues by Scorsese   Married with Children by Oliver Stone
