Title: Help ID 1930's comedic character w/ Zachery Brimstead-like voice.
Post by: gogurt on October 08, 2017, 03:27:01 PM
I'm super handy with the google but can't seem to crack this one.

1930's male comedic character actor whose trademark was a slightly campy rising and falling "Oooooooooo!" when surprised.  Seems to me he often played a butler, waiter or other service roles.

Any thoughts? Thanks.

Frank Nelson was the (slightly) later equivalent - "Yeeeeeessss!"

His turn on Sanford & Son is comedy gold.
