I thought that was a funny, sort of endearing name until I read that sentence and realized it was a reference to the actor. I'm a little dense, and also disappointed.

and i didn't realize the michael j. thing until you pointed it out, jouster. yikes...

I just thought the name was impressively odd until I realized that it was just a dumb pun, and I became the opposite of impressed. I've been a little underwhelmed by this season of Awesome Show so far, too, so that didn't help.

Post by: pupscout on December 24, 2007, 02:51:34 PM: my "yikes" had nothing to do with michael j fox's disability, it was a "yikes" of surprise that i hadn't realized the pretty obvious pun. while i do like dumb puns, i also like the idea of the fox having a name from out of nowhere and it's weird that i initially assumed the latter.

i feel like this season has had some really great moments, but i also think there has been some terribly unfunny stuff. i hated the poop tube and the cartoon for the pony tails, but steve brule never stops being hilarious and raz was pretty great, on top of the snuggler.
