Title: "no, why" in the news...
Post by: Emperorsgrave on September 27, 2006, 02:49:48 PM
OK, friends, my first posting:

Cleveland news station televises a sting operation where they bust this guy plessuring himself in the public library. Before he knows that they already have him on video, they ask him if he looks up porn.

He says, in a tone reminiscient of Philly Boy Roy et al: "No, why..." (about 1:50 in)

Just thought you might want to know a public library perv bust reminded me of Tom's show!

Worth a look:

I also got the Best Show in real life today.. this time, it was Spike..

I'm doing extras work for a movie called PS I Love You starring Hilary Swank, and some guy started talking to me about her, but calling her "Hilary Frank". I couldn't stop laughing, thinking about Spike. I asked him why he called her that. He said it's because she always acts frank in her movies. :D

NEWSNET 5 REPORTS (http://www.newsnet5.com/news/9986007/detail.html)
Quote
The daughter of a Cleveland television reporter faces drunk driving and assault charges, NewsChannel5 reported.

Westlake police arrested Melissa Hollmeyer over the weekend after she allegedly crashed into two cars at Crocker Park shopping center.

Hollmeyer is the 30-year-old daughter of investigative reporter Carl Monday. She lives in Michigan.

The incident happened around 8 p.m. Saturday inside the Union Street parking garage.

Police said Hollmeyer, who has a previous DUI, didn't go willingly.

"In the course of the arrest, she slipped out of one of her handcuffs. When the officers tried to get it back on, she kicked a female officer in one of her legs and didn't do any damage that required medical treatment or anything," said Capt. Guy Turner.

Hollmeyer was arraigned Monday on charges of DUI, hit skip and assault on a police officer. Bond was set at $2,500.

Monday recently did a series of reports on DUI repeat offenders, WEWS reported.

DUI in a parking garage?! Blow the lid off this one, Carl!

I'm quoting myself because - in a further twist - I found out today that this guy is from a town called Newbridge..

WTF!  I like how they got the guy to admit he diddled himself in the library, then they asked him to bolster their case that libraries are unsafe for children.  Like he went from being a pervert to the authority on library security.  ??
