"America" performed by All the King's Men.
From the cable access show Stairway to Stardom, circa 1981. I love that this sounds like it could have been recorded by a new york band in the last year or so.
Stairway to Stardom also featured a song that will be stuck in your head FOREVER. Lucille Cataldo's "Hairdresser." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QdJwcKFDo3o (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QdJwcKFDo3o)

Idunno. I'm still partial to "I Am I Said" as performed by Killdozer.

Man I fucking love Killdozer.
Was that on the For Ladies Only?
-
I can always go for a Waylon Jenning's version of Sweet Caroline.
-
I just saw Killdozer reunite here in Chicag, holy crap they are great. For you fans, check out the singers info from the law firm he works for...

Wow, I had no idea there was a reunion, They used to come to england quite regularly.
I believe the Hobson brothers became, or were at least studying to become accountants.

Greatest Neil Diamond cover? Obviously it's this:

Oh, you meant the other kind of cover...I think Hova did a whole marathon CD full of Neil Diamond covers.

Ewwww. That picture really creeps me out. I think even Neil himself was repulsed by it:
