Watch the news story - all these people are freaked out about an attack - look who's on the "circuit board device!"
"Those aren't the words, Err."

my tax dollars at work folks, it was hysterical to watch the news anchors utter the words Aqua Teen Hunger Force

i got distracted reading this blog i hate:
http://blog.stayfreemagazine.org/2007/02/marketing_bomb.html
that led me to another blog i now hate:
http://antiadvertisingagency.com/news/who-hates-guerilla-marketing-in-boston/
which is whining about how this is an example of a corporate "co-opting graffiti and street art culture" that were originally designed to fight against advertising. the commenters take the phrase "street culture" seriously and wax philosophical on when street culture is no longer truly street culture. "STREET CULTURE NOT FOR SALE!"

Neither is tall bike culture!
Fight the power!

Thank god for Stay Free! and the Baffler. If it weren't for them, I'd believe everything I hear about anything. We should really stand up for this "street culture."
Stay Free! actually used to be a charming and idiosyncratic little zine, before it started beating the old anti-consumerist drum. Now it's ten shades of no-fun, and makes me want to like advertising.
