Title: GG Allin on Jerry Springer
Post by: badgrammer on April 02, 2010, 05:06:28 PM
I came across this during my sick day web surfing today. Has anyone ever seen it? It's a little long (about 40 mins), but you can definitely skim through it to get the gist of the episode. I'm thinking it must be from the early 90's? Sorry if this was already posted on the forum previously (I didn't come across it when I searched)!

Everything about this is so sleazy! Be warned!

I just remember when he (or it may have been another tabloid show host) had that mutant from Type O Negative on the show. Hilarious.

I think I vaguely remember that too, now that you mention it...

Yeah, saw this recently and then i saw "Hated" by Todd Phillips.
I guess all your "fundamental" questions about GG will be answered by this documentary.

I love the integration of GG Allin lore into the Best Show universe. Yesterday at the MoCCA festival I picked up, among other things, this -

The artist Justin Melkmann couldn't have been friendlier. Not what you'd expect from a GG Allin superfan but if everyone judged a book by its cover no one would have ever picked up a bible.

Is that a comic or a book?

It's a comic. The artist also plays in a band called World War IX who opened for Gang Green recently. He's also a producer for the Daily Show. Talk about a renaissance man!
