I saw something on another thread RE Superchunk and thought I'd toss this out, as it could be another FOT-a-thon ... is anyone going to the Sept show(s)?

It was a link from the Twitter feed of Super Chunk. The tickets were sold via Ticketfly. Maybe you can go to Ticketfly to find them, or scroll through their various "tweets." (@superchunkband)

I got tix for both shows. They're like only 30 bucks even w/that fucker-fee.

Just saw them this weekend --best show I have seen in a very long time! I even met FOT Courtney for the first time! I'm coming to NYC for a Pavement show a couple of days after the Superchunk show at the Bowery (9/22). I wonder if I could make both shows....? Hmmm...

Geneva, yes! You should totally try to fit that show in. It would be so great to meet you. I hope we can hang out either way when you're in town.

Just tried to buy my ticket. It doesn't say "Sold Out" nor according to the guy I talked to at Ticketmaster will it say sold out? (maybe? I don't know) But there are no more tickets available for the 9/19 show, as far as I could tell. I checked Stub Hub but I don't know if I trust those guys.
If any FOTs have an extra ticket to this party, please message me or comment here. It's my birthday and I will cry if I have to. Not really but just let me know if something opens up.

Just noticed that SUPERCHUNK is doing a free in-store at Other Music on Sept. 19th at 1 PM. The store is small so get on line early!

"Superchonk"?!? Is that like the counterfeit Chinese version of Superchunk?
I saw Superchunk play here in Salt Lake... Like 13 or 14 years ago. They were suppose to play a club. Then, due to tortoise-like ticket sales it was moved to the basement of the club. The band showed up, hung out, then got tired of waiting and played to a crowd of about fifteen people. Don't get me wrong, they were great, but... Well, that's Salt Lake at that time for you. If it wasn't funk rock it wasn't jack...
