Anyone headed to Asbury Park ... sounds like there are a few people headed to the Silverball Museum 1st - anyone who wants to come, head ovah! it's not that far from the casino, so we'll be good.

The whole from Maplewood clan will be at Asbury Park. We're going to the Silverball Museum first.

I am near the Silverball. I don't know what anyone looks like ex. AC. Tons of WFMU bestickered cars are near Asbury Lanes.

I was at the Little Egg Harbor shoot today. It was a total blast! Not sure if anyone on here was there but I met a bunch of really nice people down there today. The Titus folks were also really great -- the stuff on the porch was just a lot of fun.
I hope this video turns out great. It was just an awesome way to spend a Sunday morning.
Also, oddly enough -- I lived at 227 Hamilton Street in NB one summer and my friends lived on Robinson Street right behind the 228 Hamilton site.

I was at the Little Egg Harbor and Asbury Park shoots. What a fun day, the band was great.

You lived at the hair salon?
Ha! I might have the address confused but I'm pretty sure it was 227 Hamilton. I have to ask my brother because I lived with him. I only lived there for about two months before I fled New Brunswick. My best friends lived at 11 Robinson Street which is right behind 228 I believe.
That hair salon is insane, if it's the same one I'm thinking about (there might be another salon closer to The Greasetrucks that might be the one in question). My brother once got his haircut there. The woman working there was completely out of her mind. In the middle of getting his hair cut, the woman asked if he liked birds. Then she went into the back and had a parrot sit on her shoulder the entire rest of the haircut. Then a guy came in and told this woman that he had "the package" (not "A" package) and she did whatever drug was in the package as my brother sat there with half of his hair cut. Then when he was done she didn't have any change to give him and instead bartered a deal where she bought him food on her debit card from Tata's Pizze (another place of cemented legend with my friends.)

Asbury Park shoot was really great. So nice to see all the FOT.
My kids froze like deer in the headlights when the band started playing...they were not prepared for the sonic boom. I hope that their rigid countenance didn't screw up the filming. Amy Klein of Titus was so nice...she kept looking at my daughter and smiling big-time...I think trying to lighten her up a bit. What a nice person.
I can't wait to see what Tom conjures this time around.

@Greg: I was thinking about the other way down the street, the salon is probably 237. I have a couple weird stories about that place as well. Also, my love for TaTa's Pizza knows no bounds.
Back on topic: I wound up at a few of the locations and I think it's going to look really great!

For this one I would probably say "Dear Prudence" and "Ticket to Ride" - both are incredible songs that are seminal moments in the two eras of the Beatles.

I was in Tata's once with my friend and some hoodie kid came in and started pestering Old Man Tata. "Yo, you owe my man some money but he said it's all cool if you hook me up with a blunt." Old Man Tata stared at this kid for about 10 seconds before reaching across the counter screaming "I OWE YOU NOTHIIIINGG!" One of the funniest things I've ever seen unfold in person.
I also had my photo up on the RU Grille. This is nothing to brag about.
I haven't been to New Brunswick in 10 years. I might need to rectify that very soon and get myself a Fat Moon.

I was also at Asbury and then at the Iron Monkey - the Asbury part was crazy b/c it was cold and we got there about an hour or more before anything happened. I felt very absurd jumping up and down & being a crazy rock fan in a winter coat w/hat gloves and scarf, so I kept laughing through the thing.
Before anyone turned up, I played some pinball games at the Silverball Museum where I ran into yesno ...the '70s pinball machines are very juggs-positive.

Jon, I think I was right next to you for a bit, shooting you knowing dad looks. Gray hair, glasses, two chins... (ok, three chins...).
Funny thing about taking your kids to cool things, since they don't have any context of why it's cool, they don't really get into it. At least that's my take on it. I just hope that as they get older they take some of the Do It mentality and apply it to what interests them.
I was at all four, but the only FOT I know I spoke with was Fish.
And after mentioning it in the chat last night, I do think that Fish and I have to do a remake of The Odd Couple together. Or maybe it's more like I'm With Busey.

This implies that we are either polar opposites, or that one of us is a toothy madman. I don't think either of those is the case.

In other news, I had a crappy couple days and simultaneously had "you will always be a loo-oo-oo-oo-ser" stuck in my head. That was awesome.

sorry I meant: It seems like maybe there's a need for a FOT photo directory so others will recognize more people. It seems like Auntie Christina is the only person people recognize. It must be mayhem when she enters a room!
