Ever since I first tired a G+ Hangout I've wanted to try to have one with some FoTs during the Best Show. The downside is only 10 of us could be there at a time, but I'd still like to give it a shot some Tuesday in the near future if any FoTs with G+ wanna.

What the hell?

Some sort of private club?

I thought referring to people as "G" went out with Tupac. Pour a 40 on the block.

It's a new thing. I AM AGAINST NEW THINGS.

I thought G+ stood for hard G. I was gunna tell you to fudge off!

David:
Neat. That's 8 slots open.
The rest of you:
Go back to your Canasta games, grandpas.

I'll try it, as an investment in the future I want my grandkids to live in.
Editorial: What is this? Is this an email thing?

I'd be down to try it out. I haven't used G+ very much at all. It just didn't click very much for me, and not many of my friends got on board, and then they introduced games and I just kind of let it fall by the wayside. But I wouldn't mind trying out the hangout thing.

G+ must apply to those folks who are too hard to be straight up G's... YOu know, the type of people who look at 50 Cent and think "what a wuss"...

I'm totally in. I added you on G+. Good idea, Jason!

We had a prototype meet-up last night. 8 people at the most-full (limit is 10 per hangout.)
Having mics up seemed to work well before the show and during the musical segment. Even though there was some funny back & forth during the first part of the show proper on the mics, the consensus formed pretty quickly that we all preferred to mute mics and just go text and video during the actual show.
It was fun, but oddly exhausting for me. And it felt a little odd at times just watching people listening to a radio show.
Final analysis: I enjoyed getting together with FoTs on G+, but maybe getting together to listen to the show isn't the best way to use the feature.

It was exhausting, but it was a good idea, and well executed by all involved.
Gimli: ...and my big toe!
