Just wondering if Tom/Jon have ever mentioned Norman Lear's late 1970s satiric gem as any kind of influence? The moronic sidekick Jerry Hubbard has more than a bit of similarity to some of the brain-dead, know-it-alls played by Wurster in the calls? Just curious.
