I'm in the process of ripping my entire 2000+ CD collection to FLAC files, and part of that process includes embedding the album art from each CD into the FLAC files.
The ripping program I use automatically searches Amazon for album art, and correctly found the art for Polvo's Today's Active Lifestyles album. Except that the art they had was different from the actual CD I own. Mine has the same cover that Amazon has, but with an additional superimposed 7-headed lion that I always associated with those weird Jehovah's Witnesses tracts.
So after doing a Google search to see what's up, I learn that Merge Records was forced to change the cover after a threatened lawsuit by none other than the JW's themselves!
So I'm now wondering, is my "lion head" copy of Today's Active Lifestyles considered to be a rarity that I can sell on eBay for the same obscene amount of money that I paid for a used (but near mint) copy of the Pussywillows' "Spring Fever" LP ($95)?
