For those film directors in the making...I was friends with Brad Peyton who's the creator of this show and a soon to be feature director. From my experiences with him, he was extremely inquisitive, self-reliant and confrontational and his philosophy was to do everything himself. He was one of those guys who dove into the industry and saw filmschool as a waste of time. He felt that film direction had become too fragmented so in his Canadian Film Center short, he did all the writing, art direction, casting, and editing himself. The results put Tim Burton to shame...

after he received some recognition for this short, he went to hollywood and got 2 features in the works for Tom Hanks production company. In the meantime, he has taken on this show for Canadian Television.
Do mysteries really exist?

All I can say is that I saw "The Cutest Evil Dead Girl" quite a while back, admired it, and am happy that I may eventually see more from its perpetrator.
