I always thought Evan from Providence looked something like this:

sorry Evan...

I've posted it before, I'll post it again.

I've always pictured Spike looking like this guy:
It ain't ego, it's my love for you.

the first time i heard spike, i thought it was paul f tompkins doing a character. i still picture spike as PFT, reclining in his hollywood home, clothespin on nose and lavender pocket square draped over the receiver.
i was wearing short pants when you were in curls.

It would never have occurred to me on my own, but that does kind of ring true.

I love your avatar AllisonLeGnome.

Your name is pretty cool too, for that matter.

No need to return the compliment though.  I mean, mine is a creepy crawly.   :D

Thank you! I was very into those plastic glow-in-the-dark aliens for a while. And yours is cool with me as long as it remains in two-dimensional picture form.

This is what I picture when Spike calls.

Oh man! EXACTLY. I once described my mental picture of him as "a mix between the dead boss/mentor in Scrooged and the tiny lady from Poltergeist," but this is even better.

Close, but I am much less clean-cut and a little more scientolog-y.

take that girl and make her 30% more drunk
and that's how I picture Laurie

As in, she's propped on the floor against the cushion? A la Auther.

I would put that in the Julie zone, but Miss Laurie does have a "Kate Hepburn Falling Down the Staircase" quality about her.

And I mean that in a nicest way possible.

I know what Laurie looks like, but before I did, I saw her as a girl with long light blonde hair, and cute chubby cheeks. I don't know why. hahaha.

Laurie's giggle should be canned and given to the troops for sustenance.

Dave From Knoxville:

I stole this from Sarah post, but it's exactly what I was looking for. I believe he looks that awesome.
"Dad gets mad."

Before I found out that Dave was a husky fellow, I imagined him looking like Bill Waterson.
