This and my kitty in my lap are helping me start the day without slipping into the morass.

Fantastic album!  The Queers definitely slipped into mediocrity after Don't Back Down (with exceptions like the Today E.P.) but that album is so good!  I've seen the Queers more than any other band.

me, too.  i went a couple years ago and had fun during their set but was like, okay, that is IT.

I've seen them in more different cities than any other band also.  I was a teenage Queershead (in my 20s).

I enjoyed seeing them in the mid 90's. It was the old dude and he had a bunch of kids in their mid-teens backing him up.

The Kingsmen-Louie, Louie

I've already listened to it 10 times in a row.

Chris Barron doing "Two Princes" solo acoustic on the radio. He's scat-singing a lot during where the guitar solo should be. Also I have a massive hangover. Someone hand me that bucket.

I am 14 hours into the 2 hour Animal Collective concert that ran on NPR about a month back; so far every minute of it has sounded like the background sound effects on the episode of the Star Trek episode when Spock got horny.

Listening to Animal Collective is akin to what Dock Ellis must have felt like while he was pitching that no-hitter on LSD.

That analogy doesn't make any sense, does it?

I just got done listening to the Acoustmatic Radio Hour.

I never remember it's on Sundays.

Nice job Grote.
