Ween  Pod

Great album. How would you rate it against God Ween Satan?
You look like a really healthy Arthy Lang.

Thats tough, both are high up on my list, GWS is much better produced, but Pod has songs on it that move my soul in mysterious ways, like demon sweat and dont sweat it.  Both albums come from an era of Ween that I dont think anyone could recreate and get away with it.

I just realized both songs I mentioned have sweat in the title.

I'm partial to GWS but I agree that there are some gems on Pod. I like Sketches of Winkle and Dr. Rock a lot. I think that Pod has a better story behind it though with the scotch gaurd mask and all but Tick, Up on a Hill, LMLYP, plus chainsaw solo, Pink Floyd samples. GWS wins but not by much. Are you on the Ween forum? My friend keeps trying to get me to join, I've been avoiding it because I didn't want to put up with uber music snob... so I joined this forum instead.

Yeah, I',m on the ween forum, but I never post, they are beyond evil. As far as GWS goes, Old Queen Cole and Birthday Boy are my current faves, but that whole album is great.

So 2007, but whatever. I love this album. One of the best (if not the best) Kate Bush cover I've ever heard.

The hot, sweaty chirp of the cicadas mixed in with the cool singing of swallows outside my window.

The White Strips. If they stuck to making singles and ignored the whole album thing, they might be among the all-time greats.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

You'll like it in hell; it's a lot like New Jersey.
