It's a Chip Butty, by the way, a sandwich where the filling is french fries (and butter, because apparently the fries by themselves don't have enough grease?)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chip_butty

That's like Wisconsin fried cheese, a heart attack in a fry basket.

A great thing about the latest Avalanche Bob call is that he mentioned Marvin Rainwater.

Rainwater has a lot of nice old rockabilly cuts.  I first heard of him in the 90's when Memphis garage rockers 68 Comeback covered his song "Half Breed".

Thanks for the post. Digging Mr. Marvin.

I also like Unknown Hinson, though he might not be a taste that can be acquired for some, ever...kinda like Kirkland lite or satire: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4IL_pbFbYK0

Wild stuff- Hinson seems really in the Hasil Adkins outsider zone which is a good place to be.

So, the chat server utterly collapsed an hour in last night....I just checked in to see this:

(10:01:39) FOT-Bot: Krokodil_Gena logs into the Chat.
(10:01:49) FOT-Bot: fish has been logged out (Timeout).
(10:01:49) FOT-Bot: OfaWitness has been logged out (Timeout).
(10:01:49) FOT-Bot: B_Buster has been logged out (Timeout).
(10:01:49) FOT-Bot: fonpr has been logged out (Timeout).
(10:01:49) FOT-Bot: Mr._Truth has been logged out (Timeout).

We got a red "error connection status 503" and it never came back up.

I blame the cold.

Heh Krok,

Good to see you back and contributing. I am off chat for the time being, as I am occupied with life stuff. At least I can hear the show in retrospect on the pod-o-matic.

Tom's discovery of a murder plot in Dudio's gun commercial.

It's that kind of insight we've come to expect from the Best Show.

Good show!

Worst: Discovering that Tom is having the same videos promoted to his youtube feed as I do in mine.

Creepy algorithmic coincidence.

While verifying the Robert Palmer cover of "New Day Rising" exists, I came across this:
