Larry's impersonation of Spike was pure gold... there.

The Wurster call was pretty good this week. And I definitely laughed out loud a few times, but I can't remember exactly when. Among others, Darryl Strawberry's rap was pure gold.

It's official:  Larry the Perv is my favorite caller.

Patton's imitation of Larry's "radio date" with Laurie had me laughing uncontrollably.

I feel like I'm so alone in this, but I like a fair amount of Oswalt's bits, he's obviously a genuinely hilarious guy, but when he does impressions in that voice, I immediately stop laughing. I think it's pretty anti-funny. It's the same voice he uses for ANY impression, but it only comes out as an offensive version of a mentally challenged person or a nerd (two of his frequent victims), the former being another reason I'm not that big of an Oswalt fan. I think he only did it once during the show, so that was my worst moment.

There's no question Tom is the more talented impressionist.

Yup.  Probably one of the best things I've ever heard on the show.

As someone who had to unadopt a dog after three months because of internecine strife, I can't automatically think ill of the people who found they couldn't keep him.  He's a big guy in his prime and would probably be better off as an only dog or the lone male among females.  After all, even tamed nature can be red in tooth and claw.

I want a dog really really badly, but I'm afraid to get one because I have two cats now - so I have to make sure the animals all get along. I also travel a lot for my job and it's very different getting someone to take care of cats vs dogs while you're away for a few days. If I had to give a dog back it would kill me.

same here.

ive tried mapping out the time it would take to drive to pasadena to pick up this dog and take him with me, but unfortunately the screening process alone makes it near impossible for me to adopt Taz before i move to memphis so i can take him with me; something tells me they wouldnt appreciate seeing him drive off in a car across the country.

For those interested in helping who haven't been following the story on Facebook, a fundraiser has been set up to pay for Taz to be boarded so Karma Rescue can board him and help him find a new home. The fundraising goal is $2000. Right now, the total raised is $1580, and a certain top-notch fellow (who hosts a radio show on WFMU at 8pm on Tuesday night) has offered to give the last $300 if the total gets to $1700, so that means they only need $120 more! I know times are tough, but if you can give a few bucks, you can help make sure Taz finds the right home.

Here's the link if you're interested in helping:

Larry the Perv will NEVER replace me. He is too intellectually inferior to be on the same level as me.

Intellectual superiority has no correlation with entertainment value, Spike.

Actually, there is a correlation, but it's a negative correlation.  Consider Jacques Lacan and then consider this person:

Yes. This entire show was just a losing battle of me trying not to laugh at my desk. Also, this?

Wow - I missed this video the first couple of times around.

How odd that this took place in Santa Cruz.

What was the precise time of this?  I listened halfway to the Larry call, but I didn't hear this.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

He did, the second time to propose a radio date with Laurie--which Tom has decreed shall happen as her punishment for offending PFT.
