Worst: Learning that Tom loved Inglourious Basterds, and therefore I have to see it. I was feeling so comfortable in completely writing it off. Oh well.

Best: Hodgman! Someone get him and Tom a nightly show.

It has been nice to hear JEFF the Brotherhood and Titus Andronicus receiving some kudos on TBS from their opening slots with Ted Leo. I have seen both bands several times and they are both good examples of bands who are out there doing work night after night. They deserve whatever praise comes their way.

When talking about "KISS meets the Phantom of the Park":
Tom: Please don't answer that.
John H: You know what?  I'll allow it.
Doing it Mentos style.

I missed that part. About where was it in the show?

My favorite part: Carl hammering slowly had me howling with laughter, and then when he suddenly started hammering double-time it was like a punch in the ribs.

I don't know what the fuck was going on at the echo that night but they weren't letting people in during JTB's set. It was crazy.

Tom (as TV exec #1): "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"

John Hodgman (as TV exec #2): "Do you mean 'Hoarders?' Yes."

that interview with Sanjaya with Karl doing his thing was the most brilliant piece of comedy I've seen in a long time.  The question is when will Wurster be the next 20 million dollar comedy star?

Tom: "You know the movie True Romance that Quentin Tarantino wrote? That's his version of 'hey, what if I had a girlfriend?'"

I think the IB talk was in the last hour or so.
