It was no "Lady Wainsworth's Desires."
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

When Tom kept repeating it, and Mike was laughing constantly for like a minute or 2 straight, I totally lost it. That is definitely one of the funniest things I've heard recently, I can't wait for the next Mike Show...

When I first heard it I thought, "Too bad it's a poor recording, oh well." Then Tom kept playing it, and it got funnier and funnier. Then Tom started doing his impression of it, and it was insanely funny. Then when Tom played the clip again, I completely lost it. Then I realized Tom is the master. To turn a funny but not that funny really clip into the funniest thing ever takes skills. It's brilliant!

Second worst part?  Hearing Laurie be a little rude to Larry.

Worst part?  Hearing Larry earn the rudeness.

Best part?  The date itself, standing alone without comment from Tom or Mike as a work of art.

When Tom randomly threw the Bruno S recording into the radio date soundtrack, I absolutely lost it.

The Bruno S soundclip was amazing.

On second listen, I didn't realize I got a chat-related shoutout! Whee!

Agreed- nice job pointing out the crucial distinction of Tom's comedy skills vs. something that's naturally funny.

As one might guess from my avatar, I loved all the Macho Man talk.

Seriously though, this was a classic Best Show. Trial of H-Man, radio date, hilarious Wurster call, Mike Show bumpers. What more can a human ask for?

That chat is always great, but this week, the show seemed more fun than usual to play along with in the chat, if that makes sense.

On listening a second time, I really enjoyed Laurie's tone during the date.  She was a bit incredulous, a bit alarmed at what might happen next, and a bit curious about where it was going.  She sounded like Tom during a JW call.

The best moment for me was:

Larry: "Whattaya havin dere fa dinna?"

Laurie: "I already had dinner."

Larry: "That was kinda rude a ya dere."

and

"What are your dreams and aspirations?"
