I forgot to add that you're a Geogro-dummy.

It's true, I am a Geogro-dummy, Steve of North Hollywood. I just can't keep that stuff straight.

I like it!

I really liked the Casino Fight story--I had forgotten what it was like to have the wind knocked out of me, but Tom's impression of the wheezing big foot who "got hold of some gel" brought it all back home. And then Officer Tom calls in! Any story involving the handling of the drunk public needs an Officer Tom epilogue.

(10/7) On Spike:

"His Sims characters are bored with him. They're looking up at him, saying, 'Seriously? This is our master? This is the guy who we have to obey everything he says?' They're trying to figure out a way to delete themselves."

One of my friends in high school was really into the whole crazy time signatures/guitar tapping/Zappa thing. He actually was pretty good and somehow got to play on Conan after a video he and I shot of him playing the theme was found by some Conan intern.

His hero was Ron Thal and he force fed me his solo albums for a good 4 years of my life. Whenever I tried to listen to something that was in 4/4 or didn't require some kind of guitar virtuoso to play it he'd brush it off as garbage. In senior year of high school he got to meet up with Ron and they started playing together.

They played a few live shows together and then Ron invited my friend to tour Europe with him. My friend being the ultra conservative loudmouth that he is jumped on board only to be quickly kicked off after chastising the bassist for letting his girlfriend get an abortion...and that's why I died laughing when Todd mentioned Bumblefoot.

Oh and call me crazy but after last weeks call does anyone else think that Brooklyn's famous Todd P could actually be the first dude?

This story is incredible.  Is your friend from Newbridge by any chance?

That guy used to post on the Comedy Zone message board.  He was not popular.

Yeah after he was on Conan he made me check and see what people were saying on the Comedy Zone boards cause he was too afraid to. He started posting there as his focus shifted from guitar and "alternative comedy" to the GOP and religion. That's why his posts were kinda all over the place. His old self will be missed.

This story makes me sad.

Listened to the Todd Palin call today.  Not too impressed.  The first half of the call had some great moments but by the end, especially when he took calls, it stopped being the character of Todd Palin and devolved into John Wurster venting, which wasn't entertaining in the least.
