I was just walking through the office at work, listening to the show and Wurster said "Let the killing begin" and I loooosstt it. Spilled coffee on my hand, and I'm at work so trying to stifle myself, but "Let the killing begin!" I was crying.

Funniest thing I've ever heard.

Credit for the above goes to my friend, Michael from Chicago IL, who is too shy to post this himself.

Too bad.  It would have been an amazing debut.

I know, that's exactly what I told him! I think I've been able to convince him to join since, so hopefully he can outdo himself (no pressure).
Eagerly awaiting the release of "Pleasure Island: A Rock Fontasy"

And Jon's anti-Obama thing is getting crazier and crazier.

Can you imagine if this were John McPain and Silly Sarah?

Oh, Spike. You can do better than that: Juan McStain and Sarah Failin'.

That's the thing: he can't.

"All I wanted was a BoKU." is now stuck in my head. I haven't thought about those commercials since I was 8 years old, and now it's all I can think about.

I too was surprised at how much Richard Lewis whining "Is that too much to ask?" was imprinted on my brain.

I'd forgotten what a hep dude Billy Dee Williams was.  Now, there's a guy who really knows how to get a kick out of life!

The third commercial in the series was a shot of Lewis hanging from a belt around his neck with a letter pinned to his shirt that read, "All I wanted was a BoKu" while D.I.'s "Richard Hung Himself" played in the background.
"Dad gets mad."

Commercials used to be so much more daring and dark. Remember that Coke ad where Bill Cosby started to cut himself?

Pam: "I'm gonna bust my bladder."

What really made this work was the Joan Rivers delivery.

And better music too. That one had Echo and The Bunnymen's "The Cutter", right?

There was a variant of that commercial with Billy Dee Williams AND Fab Five Freddy.
