You guys should be friends w/Spike on Facebook, because he workshops some of these names he comes up with - Spike, you haven't even busted out my favorite one on the air yet...

Also, if you follow Spike you will no longer have to spend hours scouring the web for pictures of John Wesley Shipp.

- new show audio collage intro! love it!

Oh hell, out of the mix. And apparently I got heave ho'd too. (Wait. Heave hoe'd?)

Oh well, I had a good run, and it's not like I'm going anywhere just cause my powers are diminished. We'll just call them the sunset years.

Shouldn't it be "heaved ho"?

We should ask a number of Attorneys General.

What if all the Universal Studio monsters came to life as part of the rapture? Like the Phantom of the Opera chasing people down the street?

Really liked the talk of a Staten Island Bus Tour. I Would love to go on a FOT-Style Staten Island Bus Tour, but this excursion might be a bad idea though. It brings to mind the scene in Treme that showed a Tour Bus driving through New Orleans to take pictures of Hurricane-ravaged neighborhoods and the residents getting upset. Not that Staten Island is disaster-stricken, but rather there is the possibility of the residents also taking umbrage with a Tour Bus passing through their area. I can imagine the Bus stopping to take pictures of a group of Staten Island comic book dudes waiting for Jim Hanley’s to open, only to have those dudes also shout something angrily like “Drive on out of here!"

Also liked the radio show idea of "Camping with Camping". Telling Harold Camping to go jump in a lake is going too easy on him though. That nutball needs to soak his head in a birdbath.

amiright??

Worst - Neil Flanagan throwing me under the bus. That story is actually great, if given room to breathe.

Also: I think Tom is a bit off with his take on Joe Rogan.
He truly is not that smart, but in this horrible new-age kind of way. He is not so much about pot, but more a bastardized zen-philosophy and elimination of ego and so on. I submit "The Lavender Hour"-podcast for evidence.

Elimination of ego via swift kicks to the face.

Tom: (on the board being in mono) "What is Bob B. Soxx in the studio? Are we making a Christmas record?"

Tom: (on the show being called "too local") "Should I do the show on the astral plane?"

One of the funniest things ever uttered.
