I wholeheartedly applaud the addition of Howie Mandel to the Hate Pit.

Hopefully Mandel has a special section of the hate pit where total strangers just stand there and touch him for eternity...

i particularly enjoyed the Ice-T apologist's call. He almost had some good points, but was unhinged just enough

Any time Tom and Julie get together is a delight. I wish the two of them were independently wealthy and a time manipulation machine so the two of them could do a show/podcast together every week.

I continue to be in awe of last week's call between Tom and Jon. Listening to Jon rattle through all these characters in one call, it struck me what an amazing body of work the two of them have crafted through the Best Show. That nearly every week these guys are able to write 30-45 mins of comedy, continuing to build on the world they created with such a wealth of great characters, it just blows me away. You've got to be some kind of dum-dum to not appreciate that.

I've only been listening to the show since late 2009. My first exposure was by PFT referring to the Gathering of the Juggalos bit he did with Tom through his twitter. I was immediately hooked and downloaded most recent podcast, the Aug 11, 2009 show, where Jon called in a Pete, the Newbridge Baseball legend. I remember listening to Jon and Tom and having no clue what was going on, but loving every minute (the Mr. Pac-Man machine; that still kills me).

It's maddening how, beyond the comedian/musician circles, how few people know about the Best Show. They are missing out on something special. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to call in and talk to Tom a few weeks ago, to be a tiny part of something that has brought me so much laughter. Thanks Tom and Jon!

"Pant joy."

This was a show I'd play for Best Show newbies. It was incredible. Tom's Sandusky imitation sent me into pull-over-the-car-and-laugh-it-out mode. The part about feeding Dogmo human blood was almost too much to bear.

I could see the Tea Party dudes hogging that machine like a mofo.
Yeah, I totally could too.

I loved the Fred MacMurray chat, ''Okie Dokie'' and John H Benjamin ''from bed''.
Of all the guys, I am one of them.

Any time Tom and Julie get together is a delight.

We need another edition of "The Julie Show"...

I thought the irony of the Aerospace comments and then Tom and Jen knowing nothing about the Singapore caning was pretty funny.

I would respectfully say that the guy who got caned in Singapore might be a little less famous than Aerosmith. But that's just how it is in my world - maybe the caning kid is a superstar in your neck of the woods.

Tom.

To be fair, the caning guy was included in a Weird Al parody of a Crash Test Dummies song. I honestly don't know something more famous than that.

Yes. This was a gem.

Also, Tom more or less giving a "Hook 'em Horns" to the caller from College Station was, for me, delightful.
