There was not a weak second of last night's show. No highlight, it was all gold.

Exactly. I have been trying to come up with THE highlight too but the whole show was relentlessly entertaining.

I find it funny that the night I call in admitting that my efforts to enjoy the NBA were thwarted by the horrific incompetence of my hometown team, this happens.

Yeah, I was on hold during this call considering whether or not to hang up since my stupid little entry for the topic was going to seem extra-pathetic following this story. Luckily for me, the guy with the airhorn called in and hanging up suddenly became a no-brainer.

By the end of that call, every single airhorn utterance was making me laugh to the point of breathlessness. And the call-back (the new equivalent of the Blue-induced snoring call-back?) was pretty funny too.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

I feel so stupid, I didn't realize who Travis was until he told Tom to hold on and yelled at his roommate. Hilarious stuff.
He was natural police. And I don't say that about many people, even when they're here on the felt. I don't say that often unless it happens to be true. Nat'ral po-lice. But Christ, what an asshole.

The FOT's are alright. I gotta say, and I know this is obvious, but TS is an absolute master at what he does.  He shaped that call and gave it all the drama that took it over the top.  Definite high point of my year - hitting what I'd consider an extra base hit with "two strikes against me."
More F1K in '09.  Happy New Year.
Love (and, of course, Hugs)
Hugman

Travis Edgkin was Patton Oswalt wasn't he? Or am I an idiot?

Not in this instance.

I thought it was Zach Galifinakis.  Shows what I know...

Hugman's call was super great. Between that and the Paterno story, December was a fine month for first timer's.
