Laurie calling to remind Tom to do the legal ID made me laugh.

I only listened once but thought about it during the show and couldn't figure out the joke. Could some one drop me a hint?

There's no real joke. It's just the fact that she called for that reason combined with his outraged reaction.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

Agreed. I was thrilled to hear Sonny's voice and sorry to hear him get cut off. He should call more.

But the images it did conjure were great.  I think HBO should get to work on a new show.
