Terre-T + A.C. Newman = Good Times

I was literally opening up the new A.C. Newman CD I got in the mail as she called in an plugged his appearance on his show.  Then I briefly struggled with the decision of listening to the show or the CD, but obviously stuck with Tom.

"Stink"? I think Spike is rubbing off on Tom.

when Tom flew off the handle at the end.  it gives off this electricity that makes me anxious and excited.

not to mention, it illustrates tom v. everyone; you knock him down, he gets back up three-fold.

Can anyone confirm that I have PBR's full name correct?

Rutherford Thomas Zbigniew Phillip Royden "Philly Boy Roy" Zeigler

I just want this down for the record.

Best moment: Tom's drawn-out "yeeaahh" when Sting picks up the guitar.

the whole Elvis Costello/Police exchange was great, and also depressing if you love Mr. MacManus' music.

Listening to the show now and Spike's comment about the "pratfalls" of prostitution didn't conjure the imagery he probably intended.

Dang, you beat me to it, Chris L. "Pratfalls" is the best non-Wurster malapropism ever.

i loved tom's realization of how incredibly terrified the next caller would be after successive heave ho's of laurie and maniac FOT..... (of course, all callers except for dj terre t)
If honesty changed the hearts of men, who could contend? If all I thought were true, in this great divide that is my life, I fear to think of all that I'd undo, if all i thought were true.

I was uplifted by Julie's excitement about taking out the garbage.

Not enough to take out my own garbage, but still it was good.

Tom chuckling while describing anything as terrifying is funny.
