I loved Julie's call this week! The Alf impression was adorable... I also think Mike's show is coming along nicely. I'd love to hear him do a nice intervention recap each week.

Fantastic work, Julie. You made us laugh and you broke our hearts at the same time!

Mike saying his method on The Mike Show is letting callers "unload their filth" had a certain poetry to it.

-Charlie The Drug Addict, maybe my new favorite caller.

-"He passed away in his sleep" (extremely long pause)

-AL DUNBAR
This may be the year I will disappear.

Only topped by "more down to earth, less airbrushed."

As long as it remains on the air, can we begin each Best Show with a discussion of the previous Sunday's "Tool Academy?" I think the Power Tool actually might not know how to read. I love the way he calls his girlfriend "dude."

Knowing that Matt Fraction is a best show fan, I'm going to have to check out his books. I picked up the first trade of his "Immortal Iron Fist" awhile back and I was kind of lukewarm on it but he seems like such an engaging guy that I'm going to have to give it another read.

the solo Bernie Taupin "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" killed me

also, Mike Francesa's Snack Mt. The mental image of that fat mess getting caught by federal troops cracks me up.
