Elton John cover. I was choked up.

Was it just me or did PFT seem to enjoy scolding someone else's toilet mouth just a little too much?
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

Everything.

Talking to 'The Yellow Chair' (albeit briefly) was cool.

Also I very much enjoyed the musical performances.

Finally, all the pictures from inside the studio of Tom in his Judge Smails get-up and other people with FOT sailor hats (Kim Kelly who I believe is Laurie from Miami linked to these from the chat) were a nice supplement to the audio.

I'd post a link myself but I didn't bookmark it.  Although it looks like The Yellow Chair has posted some just now.

John Hodgman is very fetching indeed in his sailor hat.

The scarf really adds something to the look.

He acted like he was in the model UN.

I brought his first book for him to sign for me and he tried to beat me up with it, threw it on the ground, and he and PFT pretended to stomp on it.  He then demanded that I take part of my pledge back and instead go buy his new book.  Real class act that guy.

(He did eventually sign it.)

my two favorite moments: 1)when they announced the total raised, my heart literally warmed. 2)I'm pretty sure I won something, but I didn't catch what it was.

Can you share that amount? Can you share with me what songs Ted and Ms Mann sang? Can you drop by and give me a break from nurse-maiding?

Yeah, I think you won a book pack or something, Hugman.

The highlight for me was when she read my name as "Ryan from Verona, NJ"...except I'm from Verona, WI.  Ah well.  Maybe there actually is a Ryan from Verona, NJ, too.

Not to blow my own horn, but I took that picture of Yellow Chair and J Hodgmen.

Spoony, your photography skills have made me a very happy young man. A handshake would had put me through the roof, but I'll settle for "very happy" right now.

UNTIL NEXT TIME!

The worst moment was when I fell asleep at 8:45 and missed the rest of it. (I'm on meds.)
