I'm still laughing at the "bye-bye" thing at the end of Hutch's call.

Tommy Nation, America's youngest conservative disc jockey

Please!  That was such a farce!  He didn't even know who the House Minority Whip was.

Tom shutting down Spike's first call was hilarious.

I also liked:

Fredericks: "The Wisdom of A Child.  That's beautiful, Tom. "

Fredericks' whole call was pretty amazing this week.
"I was in the shower and it occurred to me why the Hendersons named their guest "Harry."  That movie has layers!" ~ Jack Doneghy, 30 Rock.

I had to bury my face in my hands on the subway when Tom hung up on Spike the first time. People probably thought I was crying or something.

I really liked the Fredericks call. I always thought he was smarter than his goofiness usually let show.

Agreed on the Fredericks call. Also, Larry the Perv left something to be desired.

Yeah i know what you mean.... especially re: When:

Tom: "Would you be willing, Larry the Perv....if I was to "

Larry the Perv: "If I only I heard how many sentences start with 'Would you be willing' but go ahead... "

*Long Pause*

Tom: "......would you be willing, Larry the Perv.... (I'm going to pretend that that didn't happen), would you be willing..."

Oh, man that was so funny.
If honesty changed the hearts of men, who could contend? If all I thought were true, in this great divide that is my life, I fear to think of all that I'd undo, if all i thought were true.

Best: Finally, we're getting stock tips on the Best Show. I've bought heavily into Apple. Heavily. I'm really counting on this to come through.

Worst: Tom's feeble attempts to cover up the fact that CNBC has privileged status on WFMU after they donated large sums during the marathon. Who are you trying to protect, Tom?

I just caught up last night, and I whole-heartedly agree. This is a Frederick's I could listen to weekly for a while. He's like the blonde who acts dumb but is secretly bright; he needs to get over the dimwit act and just talk straight. Great call.

yup, the line about critical thinking skills was a dead giveaway, but if i had to lay a wager on it, i'd bet that Fredericks has done some LSD in his day.

Yeah, for me the whole 'imagine we didn't have bodies' thing made me wonder that also (from a while back).
