when Rick Stevens called and after being corrected on the clifford quote he said don't you know who this is.  Surely they weren't deliberately toying with us.

I listened to The Mike Show last night after a fight that I think is going to be the end of a six and a half year relationship.  I was literally crying and laughing at the same time.

I feel like that's scarily appropriate.

Did you drink until you passed out?

In retrospect, I sure wish I had.  Instead, I fell asleep on the couch, in my clothes, under a too-small blanket.          Man, that's sad.

(alternate ending : I went to the liquor store to get a fun-pack, but the middle bottle was Pepsi Throwback.)

Not that I should be one to tell a professional how to run his show. But I think as a rule, one selection from "The Who Sell Out" should be played every week.

Guaranteed to make me laugh while I'm listening to the podcast on the bus on the way to class:

"You piece of fuuuuuuuuuudge."

Every single time he does that, I crack up and probably scare everyone around me.

Mike: I think it's more like you have listened to Tom so much that you are;

Julie: ...turning into him?

That was a great, great episode.  Top to bottom one of the funniest, most engrossing ones I've heard.

Salut!
Well it's been a long time since I've had my favorite drink

I'd love some more twitter talk. Nice break? Maybe. But twitter's still got five of its fifteen minutes of relevance, and I'm enjoying them.

Best Wurster call since todd palin/ Mr. Sherbert. Not sure which came first, but I was crying. The fact that he was completely fine with not knowing where the ball was "I thought maybe he got fat real fast. Or Pregnant." and then is such a jerk later..GAH, I was going to walk through the whole call. Listening to it now for the third time. So, so funny. FAT REAL FAST oh maaaaan that's so good.

Oh also, that Spike call is historical.

And Mr. Short, class act.

One of my favorite parts is during the Mr. Short interview, Tom asks Mike if one of the calls is good, and faintly in the background, you hear Mike, "Nah, its Larry the Perv."

I laughed really loud during the call-taking section of the Martin Short interview where Tom, upon being told that all of the calls were good, answered the phone to Spike.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

I absolutely loved Tom talking about just exactly how bad that Spike call was. I had kind of forgotten about during the rest of the interview, but it definitely required comment.
