Discussion of DiPaolo mocking Tom's sweater nine years ago killed me.  Like true pros, the wrecking crew saved the best for last.

listen, dave. i was born and raised in georgia, albeit atlanta, but my mom's from thomasville, ga and dad's from birmingham. i'm through and through, a southerner. i'm proud of that shit. i love the south. could you please stop with the self deprecating "simple southerner" bit? you're throwing us down the river.  i get it, the south is dumb and full of racists. very good. tom does it from time to time. fair enough. you initiate it every call. come on, dog. let it go. you're a smart dude, your shirts have sleeves. be proud to be from tennessee. you know it's proud of you. who's that bozo from the cynics that just rips on the south? don't feed that clown's fire. big ups, dave.

that bozo from the cynics is michael k? michael something. even if i were not an alabaman (by birth) and an atlantan (moved here 2 weeks ago for a job) i am sure i would be still be massively irritated by that guy. (he is a wurster character, right?) at any rate, i've been waiting a while now for him to call in just so's i can call in and break my copy of some bleh old cynics single over the air. or try to, at least.

I'm from the south too, but the main thing that annoyed me about the Cynics guy wasn't his south-bashing...it was his constant use of "poo-poo'd"

It made him seem like the biggest douche ever.

it wasn't the south-bashing that got me upset, not at all. IT WAS HIS SEEMING INABILITY TO SHUT HIS MOUTH FOR LONGER THAN THREE SECONDS AT A TIME.

also, i always reminded myself every time he bashed the south that (ahem) he was/is in the cynics.

Us northerners are going to put down our Wall Street Journals, put up our penny loafers (with no socks), sip our vodka tonics, and watch the southerners duke it out.  It is our life-long fontasy.

When I went to the University of Virginia there were a lot of rich kids with southern accents who wore penny loafers with no socks. And khaki pants rolled up at the ankles. And nice striped shirts. So I guess rich kids are just rich kids, no matter where they're from. Our previous president's dumb yokel act was a good cover for his true origins.

The talk of Larry being in animated movies was hysterical.

Your eyes are not deceiving you.
