Shut your mouth you piece of fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuudge.

Seconded.  Glasses, if styled correctly, are great.

This should go in the "Stuff You Hate" thread, but I dislike people who wear glasses to look "stylish." They're phonies and it bothers me as someone who actually needs glasses to see.

They will get theirs when they get old and need quadrafocals.

I second this. It has astonished me just how often a compliment towards my glasses will immediately be followed with: "are they real?"

Heave ho.

Living in L.A. I have no idea what you're talking about.

People who had lost their hearing due to chain fights must really love you.

I wear a fashion hearing aid.

I wear a fashion hearing aid.

Morrissey did that in the 80s, IIRC.

YRC, but Moz did it for sentimental, fan-supporting reasons rather than pure looks.

I might switch to a fashionable Bluetooth headset. It would go well with my blue shirt which is too large and therefore billows at the waist.

I resist getting new glasses for as long as possible, much to many an ophthalmologist's distress (I have terrible, terrible eyesight).  Being fashionable, if that were an interest of mine, isn't really an option.  Just out of curiosity, though, how trendy are centimeter-thick lenses?

I had to pick out my new glasses immediately after getting my eyes dilated! I couldn't see a thing, and ended up trying a bunch on and getting the people around me's feedback. I then got home and discovered that the people around me have horrible taste in glasses. :(

I'm in a similar pickle:  I'm so near-sighted that I have to rest my nose against the mirror to see my reflection, which is not a good way to get an idea of how a pair of glasses suits one's face.  I then ask whichever sister gave me a ride how the glasses look, and, eager to get home, she invariably says--after barely glancing at me--"Fine."
