Joining in the chorus saying how amazingly touching the tribute was. I don't want to sound trite or cheesy so I won't say much, but I'm so glad Tom shared what he was feeling...it was truly beautiful and really struck a chord with me. Thanks to Tom and everyone who makes the show happen.

Officer Tom is tops and so is Wood Shampoo.  I bet he's the kind of cop that pulls you over to let you know you are speeding and that your license is expired. Then he sends you on your way after wishing you a good evening.

Especially if you're a girl, and you cry.

I really loved those Beatle alternate takes actually.
He was natural police. And I don't say that about many people, even when they're here on the felt. I don't say that often unless it happens to be true. Nat'ral po-lice. But Christ, what an asshole.

Something to the effect of: 'pay it forward'? You're going to dishonor Dogmo's memory with 'pay it forward'?  Why don't you bring up K-pax?

Also, Tom's limo story about Pierce and Walker... Now Tom's disdain for the Celtics makes perfect sense.

1.) Tom's Dogmo story: Dogmo was splashing cold water on her face!

2.) Fredericks is totally right about that garage punk podcast.

I also appreciated the Dogmo tribute, having become a dog person myself.

I did wonder though: how's come we got Bulldog Skin in its entirety on the podcast? I thought only snippets of songs (except for the theme(s), Porcupine Pie, Cowboy Star, etc) were allowed.

Robert Pollard gave him special permission?

Maybe so. How could he not?

I guess this is one for the 'Hey Tom' board.

I had never heard anything off of Mag Earwhig! before Tuesday night. Bulldog Skin is a great song.

BTW, does anyone have a list of all the songs Tom played on Tuesday night? They were all really good.

I really loved those Beatle alternate takes actually.
"Hey Bulldog" was the Beatles .
"Martha My Dear" was Slade (or more accurately, Ambrose Slade, as they were known as in 1969).
"Dad gets mad."

Julie did not get that animals were put on this planet to be consumed by humans. REAL MEN EAT MEAT.

I tried to stay up for the whole show but I crashed out at 11:30. So I have the rest of the show to look forward to this morning.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.
