i've literally only heard about five collective minutes of tonight's show so far, but Stevie NoHo fooling Tom with his Spike impression was awesome.

I think everyone who gets their call in as the first of the show should try their Spike impression.

The image of Al Goldstein's jowls flapping in the breeze while he rides a roller coaster.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

Special recognition goes to Sascha for referencing the great Chainsaw Kittens! The best band to ever come out of Oklahoma -- sorry, Bubble Boy.

I was in Ft. Lauderdale for the Black Dice/Animal Collective show last night. I thought about leaving early so I could get din din at Rickey's "World Famous" Restaurant, but I decided against it. It was raining pretty hard. Also, I don't like hairs in my burritos.
Too soon?

Think I've posted this photo before. But that place looks like a gentlemen's establishment fo' real. That is the FRONT, MAIN entrance. And there are no windows.

I did this in my one and only call, long ago.  It was late in the show and Tom was worried that Spike would be calling that late.

I once gave Mike a "Helloooo Mike" and I could hear him get immediately annoyed, thinking I was just some fool calling up and doing a voice. He warmed up when I said who it was.

I always like Steve's calls but I was never so relieved to hear that it wasn't Spike and we wouldn't have to sit another one of his calls. (Sorry Spike but you completely lost me on the Martin Short episode)

The portions of Larry's story that got on the air were the best/worst moments of last night's show.

I just finished reading Larry Legend. It's an allegory of sorts with "eating" movies standing in for ... well, it's not that hard to figure out. Tom is the repressive ruler and I am a heroic rabid dog. I'm going to keep pushing Tom for an on-air performance if only to hear Larry do the female parts (in a few scenes he will literally be having a conversation with himself). Stay tuned.
See God, Kai

Hey Coach,

I think I have the perfect voice to be Larry's leading lady.

Will you post or email me the script.

I'll make you an audition tape.

Think about it.

You've got to post this online somewhere, Michael.

Having said that, didn't I just promise to stop listening to you on air last night? Never mind.
