I loved the "I'm psyching you out" conversation.

I thought that guy was hanging with Tom for a few minutes, then he just turned out to be another jerk.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

Buy our CDs.

And T-shirts.

Tom's voice inflection on "T-shirts" was so good.

Maybe my favorite Best Show moment ever?  Rex Brushman saying "God bless you" to me.

I enjoyed discussion of the "see ya later tape".

Also, I didn't get the joke earlier when someone called and said "Do you think Julie was at a Who show?" Ted and Tom both chuckled and Tom said "Too soon".. anyone explain?

I guess the joke was that Julie could be seen as a Cincinnatian who could incite violence at a rock show. (The Who tragedy happened there)
"Too soon" was a half-joke as it was 30 years ago but still a bit morbid.

That makes sense. Thanks for the explanation!

I thought the "too soon" meant that it was too soon to this late Cincinnati rock'n'roll "incident" (that was the first time I have ever typed Cincinnati; I just stared at my keyboard before pounding out Cincanaty and having spell check help me out). I wish there were a Cliffs notes for every joke on the BS; I probably miss like 75%. Especially the encyclopedic rock lore that JW brings.

"What's going on with your phone there? You calling from a whoopee cushion factory?"
"Come partake of my fruit baskets."

this show was an absolute gem, summed up by mr. fraction at the end. "did that just happen?"
