Wow. What a great show. The downer was John Hodgman calling in with no time left on the clock.

Thrills and chills all night. Ben Karock ??? really blew out with the Butterfinger Buzz call. I kind of thought he'd call in a few times through the night, each time with amplifying amounts of hilarity. Then again, I called in twice and got hung up on.

I loved Wurster's hang up.  I also like that in the WFMU archives the show description right now is "John Hodgman, Ted Leo and Paul F Thompkins."
You'll like it in hell; it's a lot like New Jersey.

Definitely, the end of that call may have finally trumped the ending of the Brock Peuchk call for me.

This may be the year I will disappear.

HERO!

I think my favorite part of the show may have been when Tom described everybody as being like Tough Crowd 2.0.

I really like when Ben Kharakh gets cut off.

It strangely reminds me of the SNL skit where Dana Carvey plays Johnny Carson and Ed McMahon (voiced by Phil Hartman) has been replaced with a speaker playing recordings of his voice. At one point, Johnny gets sick of Ed's sycophantic and cuts it off in midstream, so you hear "Hahaha...YYYYYEEE-."

I'll probably go into the wee hours.

The best Johnny Carson Dana Carvey did was with Jay Leno:

JAY: "I wrote ya a little poem, Johnny."

JOHNNY: "I hope it's two-ply so I can wipe my butt with it."
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!
