I can only hope the Wurster calls keep ending with that horrifying, "YYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! *CLICK*"
He's this soulless bastard from Siberia. I once saw him shove Fred Savage's face in a toilet.

In reference to the Damon Che-penned instrumental Pittsburgh city anthem, exchange went something like:

Karl: “Guess how many parts are in it?”
Tom: “How many?”
Karl: “42. Guess how many different time signatures there are?”
Tom: “10?”
Karl: “42.”

Because who don't love a good Don Caballero joke?

With last night's installment, The Best Show has almost definitely reached its "White Album" phase.

VEL COME TO ZEE MIKE SHOW

Maybe the highlight of 2009.

This, plus the new bed music ... I hope it's all rolled together next week for another installment of the Mike Show.

"What are your worries & concerns? What are your dreams & aspirations?" quote from a surprisingly slick Larry. Tom's stifled guffaw after was priceless.

"Okay, pick a pet name for yourself and then I'll pick one for me." "It's 3/4 of a bouquet." "Yeah, I wouldn't want to date a lady who's tried cat food."

Seriously, the radio date was the perfect digestif to a very W show.

Velcomm to zee MIKE shoow!

Also, Mike's glee.

Mike's giggle fest at hearing Bruno S.  i love Mike.

also, best/worst at the same time, the Larry+Laurie from Miami date.  come on, Laurie, Larry was a true gentleman and you shot him down time after time; he treated you like a real "flower".

When Tom kept repeating it, and Mike was laughing constantly for like a minute or 2 straight, I totally lost it. That is definitely one of the funniest things I've heard recently, I can't wait for the next Mike Show...

Is he really trying to say "Welcome to the Mike Show"?  I keep hearing a "P" in there, more like "pee-com to-ze mike-sho."

and the music during the date was amazing.  aimee mann + 'victory' by puff daddy and the family especially cracked me up!

initially, I was veering toward The Larry Side. But toward the end of the 'date', Larry seemed to revert to Perv form, including a rather creepy laugh, that made Laurie's stance much more understandable.

All that Bruno S stuff was gold. The gigglefest had me tearing up, it was just so insane. Bruno just sounded so mad to be saying that, if only he knew how perfect that was for Ze Mike Show!

Yeah, that's why the whole thing was so great. Laurie and Larry both were terrific. They went up, they went down, back and forth. Et cetera. Loved it.
