I thought I could feel Nardwuar's spit on me as he talked.  I'm a door, not a window.

Tom's Michael Richards impression. It came out of nowhere. It blew me away.

Man, I could barely keep my composure when he did that. Just hilarious stuff. All the Curb Yours stuff had me laughing.

Tom's Michael Richards Ronald Reagan impression. It came out of nowhere. It blew me away.

Fixed.

The Blues Traveler call was also quite entertaining.

I just got around to the Publick/Urbaniak show, and man was James Urbaniak hilarious. And that voice. It's like Jon Benjamin where it's just funny and great by default.

Ditto Tom's Wally Whack-er/i/a-man impression.

I too was very pleased to be introduced to Nardwuar, and kinda can't believe I'd never heard of him before.  I especially liked how his call completely overshadowed the topic, because I had NOTHIN'! to call in with.

I just listened to the show again and STILL don't remember hearing any calls about the topic.  That gives me two whole weeks to think about it and call in with a gem... and then get heave-ho'd.

I had a good one, but there was just too much going on. I sat it out, and look at the results. A perfect final 30 minutes. Je ne regret rien.

I did too but was so pixilated after Nardwuar that I called too late to tell it.

Oh, piffle.  It's not as though we don't know.  And why should Nardwuar, not a FOT as far as I know, care about or even be aware of this conceit?

I thought the hyperventilating guy who introduced the guests was very cute. And the mental image of Spike locking his manuscript up in his 'work drawer' hehe.

That meltdown the guy had was fucking AWESOME. As he got more and more panicked... man, so great.

I'm extraordinarily late, but that was definitely my favorite part of that show. It wasn't that he didn't do a good job, it was that he was growing more and more uncertain that he was still supposed to be talking. When Jackson Publick said he didn't hear the whole thing and the kid said, "Thank God!!", I laughed really hard.
