The best part was Tom trying to get Spike to read an excerpt of WEIRDOS EXPOSED !!!!!!!

 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Here's what you gotta do Spike, write just enough to not sound like you're making it up on the spot each week. When you've done that enough times, you will actually be on the road to a real book. If you need some illustrations or anything at that point, let me know, I'll personally do whatever I can do to help. I just want to see this thing in print! Even though I'm of the popular school that says you haven't gone beyond opening a blank word pad document, I believe you can come up with SOMEthing to entertain and inform us all, so why not do it? Just my $0.02!

Who knew Jimmy Webb sounded like Elvis when talked?

I was thinking Junior from Smokey and the Bandit mixed with a little Nathan Arizona.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

Listening again. Curious as to why Tom is "apparently not allowed to have my own opinion" in re: Olivia Munn.

He tweeted something negative about her and Chris Hardwick responded with an angry tweet, I assume because he works with her.

A number of her fans RTed it in outrage - which is just hilarious to me.
Remember how he couldn't stop his leg?

Maybe not my absolute favorite moment, but I love it whenever a clueless listener stumbles onto the show and requests a song.

Yeah, it was so good-- it gets me every time Tom does it, even though I know exactly what's coming. Am I the only one who sorta wishes Porcupine Pie was back in the rotation?

"I could pay you in kisses."  Horrifying, sad, and funny.  Everything I want in my light entertainments.

Agreed PJ, one of my favorite calls of the show (and there were plenty).

Loved everything about the call as well as the way Tom handled it. So good.

Edit: New tagline, thank you Spike! "Not that I want to be another Bernard Goats, but..."

Chris Hardwick needs to focus on the rigorous task of selecting 'hit in the nuts' youTubes for that Web Soup thingy he does, for now.

I like Hardwick and Hard n Phirm. He's pretty funny and a super nice guy.

Yeah, when I first came across him as a comedian I couldn't believe it was the same guy.

He threw all southerners under the bus on the Jesse Thorpe show recently, arguing that southerners were incapable of perceiving sophisticated nuance in film. Nice guy or not, you don't say that stuff about any large group of people unless it's clear you're joking. Fucker. And Jesse Thorpe just let it go.
