Yes, what kind of sandwich was it? It's the details that make a story.

I thought David Rees was very very awesome especially for a rookie guest. Best moment: his contribution to the topic "when you've lost it"-- getting enraged at himself.

I'm not kidding - Glengarry Glen Ross with Mattresses is the best idea I've ever heard. Ever.

I wouldn't say this was the BEST moment, but a notable one- the announcement of the 24 hour marathon and the "super secret awesome" premium.

I thought so too. Believe it took him a little bit to get into the rhythm of the show, but by the end he was knockin it out of the park.

PFT's comedienne/comedian intro never fails to make me laugh.

"Dream Lung"

The clarification (by Tom?) for Hodgman that basketball was no longer played with a peach basket… Awesome.

So many moments.

A shameful sandwich made of broken dreams and, I think, Steak-ums.

In retrospect, I should have called in during a less guest packed show, but I was so excited about telling Tom about the awful meeting/barber that it clouded my judgment.

Yeah - I just wrote the station to see if I could come down and answer phones, or you know, bring Scharpling his scarves and his water. Whatever's needed.

Also, another 6 hour show right before Thanksgiving!!!

[Edit: I got the go ahead to come down! Anyone in the NJ/NYC FOT-cabal want to come down and take pledges?]

Yes! They're taking volunteers already? I didn't see anything on the webbed site yet.

I just wrote to Scott (scott at wfmu dot org) to get on the list and he got back to me pretty quickly. I'm thinking if this is being announced for two weeks hence, this is kind of getting slapped together as quickly as they can do it.

I said I'd come in for scratchy record too since the thing starts at 7 and it seemed silly to skip the first hour.

I just responded to a volunteer plea and said I could help out that night. Fingers crossed...

Yes, that reminded me of the 'Caleb' call where, maybe 10 minutes after we'd last heard from him, he started playing 'Explosion' again.
