Does Fredricks post here? I want to find out more about this Brakheart/Drakheart fellow. Any help seem to be spelling it wrong.
René Descartes born on March 31, 1596 in La Haye, France.

I just experienced my worst lost opportunity with regards to the show. I am listening to the podcast on my drive back from my family holiday extravaganza, and I hear the call, about 15 minutes before I get home, in which some nice person nominated me for the mini-show. Unfortunately, when he called, I had been on the road for about 30 minutes on the way TO the extravaganza (we travel late so the younger kid will sleep), and so missed out on that opportunity to bolster my nomination. I have not yet heard how Fredericks did, but I am assuming it was great, and that I could not have been as engaging as he, but I am disappointed that I was not available to at least try to receive the nomination.

Damns!

Oh well. Maybe next time.

Who am I kidding, there will never be a next time.

Is anyone else kinda disappointed that Jazz Fart isn't a real song?

Hmmmm ... Nope.

If it is I can't find any reference to it. There is a youtube video under the same name that is almost as bad but it's nothing to do with Zappa.

It's EVERY Zappa song, actually.

I was a little bummed that I wasn't in on this, but now ... I'm not!

(Although it would've been the funniest thing to get a whole spindle full of Zappa CD dupes. You would've been able to hear me screaming from Knoxville.)

Speaking of Zappa...

A Scottish brewery has just announced it is putting out the worlds strongest beer. It has 32% alcohol content. This is what the warning label on the beer says:

"This is an extremely strong beer; it should be enjoyed in small servings and with an air of aristocratic nonchalance. In exactly the same manner that you would enjoy a fine whisky, a Frank Zappa album or a visit from a friendly yet anxious ghost."

They are basically saying that, like Frank Zappa albums, if you take in too much of this beer you will feel very ill.

Nobody seems to remember Julie from Cincinnati alluding to some sort of thanksgiving orgy last year.  Seems like that would've been great fodder for the Mike Show.

Hey, aren't you the guy who suggested "gay porn" as a topic?

Hug, I feel you need to be a tad more subtle.

Or you'll never sneak the sexy back.

NO, I did not SUGGEST gay porn as a topic. He came up with that on his own, I just encouraged him to run with it.
