Doin' the archive: Tyrone(?) from South Carolina might be my favourite caller ever.

Tyrone's call was the highlight of the show, IMO. His personal grooming tips were very useful.

seconded. He needs to call in more often.

Wally Wackiman was the best last night.

Were they? I followed his tips this morning and almost turned my face into a bloody stump. Back to the Colgate Regular.

But what you DIDN'T love was Andy from Bath trying to STEAL your British thunder, RIGHT?!

Diminishing returns from Andy with each call. Samir on the other hand brings it every time.

Good Morning Vietnam taught me to use cold water, not hot.  Now I don't know what to believe.

John Polito's character in Miller's Crossing made the case for cold water, too.

I definitely found Tyrone's call pretty good and Wally and Fredricks was my favourite part of the show.

That was putting the razor in cold water though, if I remember correctly. Warm water definitely "brings the whiskers up", Tyrone was right about that (but no, I wouldn't use water alone).

P.S. Wally Whacky Man brought it so hard I could hardly stand it.

Although I thoroughly enjoyed Wally Wackiman as a co-host my favorite part of the show was Wally doing a worse Tom impression than I did. That's right, my ego typed this post!

That was a very good call because it started out sounding like a prank, and then turned out to be a real call from an emerging fan.

If there's a Rookie of the Year race this year, I think Tyrone made a very strong showing.

I'm paraphrasing but when Wally told PFT: There are other kinds of voodoo I guffawed. I believe that we will one day view PFT vs. Wally Wackiman as a Frost/Nixon like landmark in broadcasting.
