Yeah, I don't read Chunklet and I didn't know he slammed Jay after he died. Nevermind.

[ But think twice before you shit on the bad callers. Bad callers are infinitely more interesting then the polite and snoozeworthy callers.

Then why not describe them as interesting callers?

Every Henry call is somehow more infuriating than the last. Dude seems to have zero self-awareness.

Fixed!
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

Tom yelling was awesome.
He reminded of Neidermeyer yelling at Dorfman in Animal House.

And a seeming inability to let Tom finish a single sentence.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

That's his most egregious error, right there.  He always ALWAYS seems coked up.

I love Tom's NBA allusion a few weeks ago.  Just because you love it doesn't mean you have to participate in it.
Well it's been a long time since I've had my favorite drink

Just caught up with this week on a long bus ride yesterday. An amazing episode all around!  Jam-packed with goodness.

My favorite part was Tom's delight over Wally's "Come on, man."  There really is nothing funnier than an exasperated puppet.

I keep wondering if Wally Wackiman has seen this

From the January 15th show:

"We're at the U.S. Open. Tennis is afoot. Mickey's under cover. He's just chillin' in a Panama hat..."

While not claiming to be a Best Show scholar, I want to say that show was my favorite end to end.  Auer was a major asset.  His Hand in Glove reference early on to his covering the Smiths.

Tom's tirade was wonderfully discomfiting.

Wurster's timing was perfect.

Wally was really great, for a puppet.

The pacing, the guests, the music.

And the callers.  Cojones guy!  The woman's request for the Morrisey imitation.  The positive-puppet lady.

Then the shocking outcome.

Auer really was a perfect fit. I always enjoy the guys who lay back a little, picking their spots, more than the guys that are clearly hot to get some quota of zingers in.
