Agreed, the spec-fiction challenge was a highlight. I had my money on Patton though.

Speaking of the Patton Oswalt/John Hodgman Sci-Fi Nerd-Off...

One of the questions was about Dr. Who: "What does Tardis stand for?" Patton and John answered in unison.

It was hilarious.

On Twitter I threatened that I would make a ring tone of Patton and Hodgman answering in unison. I did that today. What can I say; Work was boring.

I figured Hodgman was a lock (btw, how cute was he in a hoodie and jeans?). We are talking about the guy who asked Barack Obama if he was the Kwisatz Haderach.

I have to concur with the tardis moment.

Also, patton oswalt being asked open trivia questions about two shows he actually guest starred on, or whatever, was pretty funny

Tom's (probably unnecessary) humble apology to Vampire Weekend. Regardless of what you think of their music they seem like pretty regular dudes to me and Tom handled that with class.

Has anyone ever eaten a circus peanut? I think I tried one once as a kid.

Bests: "out of your wheelhouse" The termination call from the Ron Jacobs, the Shoutcast guy, being astounded that Tom was able to be dressed much less raise a ton of money.  Fredericks with the giggles.  Paul F. Tompkins and Tom riffing moving from teen wolf to mummy marathon etc.  overall a pleasantly low key and funny show.

Tom laughing about Jersey City's very welcoming 'guy-getting-bayoneted' statue.

I thought PFT's imitation of me was better than anything Tom has managed up to this point.

Wurster's numerous oblique references to my video contribution.

It was jokes only I (and a few other people) would understand, until the premium gets sent out.
