Most of the callers were ladies this week. The giggly variety.

Perhaps I will listen then.

I fear you will find me unsatisfying as a giggly lady.

Noted and agreed.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

Imagine being on a train filled with tea-partiers. That's the only people I know who still take trains. That is enough to keep me away from trains.

I took a halfway across the country Greyhound Bus ride, but I'm thinking a cross country train trip would be considerably more pleasant. Actually the bus ride was OK. The driver stopped at one point and berated whoever it was who got on smelling like alcohol, and claimed he'd find said person and kick him off the bus, but I got to my destination.

I think tea-partiers probably would hate the communal, I'm-not-driving aspect of taking a train. But I am just hypothesizing.

Auntie Christina's call was my favorite. I just recently saw Death Wish 3 for the first time as well, so I greatly enjoyed their discussion.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

My one greyhound experience scared the hell out of me. Not only did I have to go to the shadiest part of Atlanta to catch my bus, I then arrived in the shadiest part of the destination city... but this time it was dark. It was fun though, all things considered.

I know some tea-partiers who wanted to reminisce in the once great America by taking a train to DC during the healthcare vote. I kind of like the idea of people decked out in tea-party gear loading on to a train... just like in the olden days!

I don't think there's ever been a call from a kid I haven't loved on some level.

Also, I love it when Tom sings.
Too soon?

Lots of great moments, but my favorite low-key one was Tom's reflexive little snort of amusement/derision when "The Expendables" came up. Actually, everything about that call was great. ("A bad job... for Charles Bronson.")

One time for work we had a rafting trip.  My boss (ironically) wore a Coors Hat the entire weekend, but man, THAT is a baseball cap.

I'm debating sending him Tom's Coors Hat tale.

Tom's vocal rendition of the guitar solos from "The End" from the Abbey Road medley. I knew instantly what that was and it cracked me up. I was a 9 year old Beatles nerd.

That's funny. It took me until maybe 1/3 of the way in to recognize it. I thought he was just making up some fake scat singing as a goof. It was the guitar solos that clued me in to what it was.

I have a Coors t-shirt, but it was a free Indianapolis Indians t-shirt. It says Coors on the front and Indianapolis Indians on the back, which doesn't make much sense.

I enjoyed the whole train story. Overall one of my favorite best shows in recent memory.
