I am solidly with Mike, Charis, and Oprah on the question of cell phones.  Why do people need to be constantly available, for crying out loud?  I think the defensive anger you cell phoners exhibit in the face of those who eschew them reveals that you yourselves are somewhat ambivalent about them.

And about the fellow who got stranded in the airport because he didn't have a cell phone, are you telling me it was absolutely impossible for him to gain access to a land line?

I am also with Mike on the subject of Lady Gaga.

Larry's whole call was pretty great.  I have to listen to the whole episode again.  It contained many gems.

First to say that insane epic suck list. It was like a Jon Glaser bit.
Great last couple of shows. It's the summer of Best Show.

Tom imagining his own stand-up act as "Dane Cook, but more populist," which he plans to achieve by doing his set in workout clothes.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

I told Mike in the chat that it was nothing personal ... I don't wish to imagine ANYONE wearing the Greco Roman Onesie:

Tom's retelling of E.T. trying to see the Matrix had me in stitches.

Ha, so much pollen!

Think I laughed the hardest at JW's references to 90's era Chicago Bulls.
